Rollups are not restricted to the Army Combat Uniform, though. Other services have their own rules. Some, like the Navy, let sailors roll up their sleeves while on board ships.
Not only do rolled up sleeves provide protection for the forearms, they also improve overall uniform appearance. They also help prevent bulging of the hands.
