If you’re looking to kill big value targets, or just want a fast, fun hand cannon, you can’t go wrong with either. However, if you’re looking for a weapon to add some diversity to your team, or a tool to help you out in PvP or Raids, you should consider Thorn.
Thorn has a unique ability to poison opponents. This will slow their health regeneration, as well as preventing them from grabbing Heavy ammo. That’s good in most situations, but it makes it hard to keep up against long range weaponry.
The main weakness of Thorn is its range. While the weapon has a decent range, it’s not enough to deal with all the threats in Destiny 2. It also lacks the ability to kill enemies in close combat.
Ace of Spades is one of the best PvP exotics in Destiny 2. It’s a powerful Hand Cannon with a lot of base stats. There are versions with Adept and adept perks, which increase its accuracy and damage.
